“The Cedars is so much more than just a school – it is a little community. The Parents Association (PA) works hand in glove with teaching staff to help raise funds to enhance facilities for our children. The work we do enables us to enrich the opportunities available to every child at the school, during this crucial first stage of their education.”
Our role is to advance the education of our children by raising funds that will incrementally support the schools’ curriculum and recreation facilities.
The PA Committee
We all have busy lives balancing family, work and other commitments. By working together as a team we can raise lots of money to support our children’s endeavours and I am confident we will have tremendous fun along the way.
The committee is run by a small group of parents who meet every few weeks to plan and arrange a broad spectrum of fund raising events. Meetings are held at school pick-up times to make it easy for all parents to attend.
The Committee leads the fund raising activities but we want to include every parent in our work, which will benefit every single child at the Cedars.

Thanks to the PA who raised money to buy the new climbing frame – a real hit with the children!
Our aim is to ensure that we have something which will appeal to everyone. We are doing some specific events and activities just for the children as well as events which include family and friends.
